Carrying System for Police Equipment

Abstract | Inspiration | Method | Result | Video | Presentation Video

Police officers work in shifts and have a work period of up to 10 hours per day, and they wear equipment weighing between 12 and 15 kg. The equipment belt presses uncomfortably on the hips, and the police officers spend most of the day in a car that is not adapted to the equipment. Many police officers get ailments and injuries after about 5 -10 years in service. There is an urgent need for more ergonomic equipment for both men and women in the police force. I have designed two products, an ergonomic equipment belt and an equipment- and bulletproof vest that will be worn on top of the jacket as an outer garment.
